AmaWaterways has announced savings of 20 per cent on selected 2023 and 2024 European and Mekong river cruises.

The offer, which applies when booked by 30 September 2023, can be used for more than 70 cruises departing this year and 340 departing in 2024.

It covers all categories of staterooms and suites, with savings of up to £2,375 possible, based on two sharing.

Among the cruises included in the promotion is the five night Majestic Capitals of the Danube voyage on AmaLea, departing on 22 December 2023.

The trip now costs £1,653pp (was £2,037) based on two sharing a category E stateroom – a saving of £384pp.

Alternatively, the seven night Magna on the Danube cruise on AmaMagna, departing on 11 February 2024 now costs £1,611 (was £1,971) in a category E stateroom – a saving of £361.

Port charges and extras, such as flights and transfers, are not included in the offer.

AmaWaterways ‘focused’ on helping agents

AmaWaterways MD Jamie Loizou said: “River cruising offers such fantastic value for money compared to land based equivalents and our latest promotion enhances this value even further.

“Our focus is always on helping our travel agent colleagues grow their river cruise business and with so many destinations and departures included, we will undoubtedly tempt agents to sell river cruising and AmaWaterways for the very first time.

“Once on board, our guests will enjoy award-winning, locally sourced cuisine paired with complimentary fine wines as well as a range of complimentary immersive shore excursions, including cycling and hiking options.”

The luxury river line also recently launched a travel agent incentive offering £100 of Love2Shop vouchers for every booking made.
