AmaWaterways expands UK team with two new hires

Luxury river cruise line AmaWaterways has strengthened its UK team with two new hires across marketing and commercial roles

Both roles are based in the company’s Guildford office. Kate Norris joins as marketing executive. She brings a wealth of experience from previous roles at Happiful Magazine and Fourwalls Group.

Norris will support the UK marketing strategy and work closely with travel agents and the wider team, reporting to marketing manager Aimee Boschier.

Taking the reins as commercial manager, Modupe Femi-Ogundele will be covering Sarah Le Goff’s maternity leave. She will be responsible for developing and managing the commercial and promotional strategy of AmaWaterways for the UK and EU markets and for supervising the agency support team.

Femi-Ogundele has more than 20 years experience in the travel industry and spent more than a decade at Virgin Atlantic’s Lagos office before completing an MBA.

Jamie Loizou, AmaWaterways managing director, said: “We are delighted to welcome both Kate and Modupe. Both roles are an an invaluable part of the team and act as key contacts for our trade partners.

“The addition of a new trade marketing focused role, demonstrates our commitment to working with our industry partners and offering them support in every area of their business.”
