MSC Cruises has promoted Alyshia Bartlett to head of sales UK as it looks to reinforce its commitment to its trade network

With more than 23 years of experience in the cruise industry, including ten years at MSC Cruises, most recently as head of retail, tour operations and homeworking, Bartlett was praised by the line for playing a “pivotal role” across multiple trade-facing projects.

Antonio Paradiso, vice president of international sales, MSC Cruises, said: “Alyshia’s promotion is thoroughly deserved. Her knowledge, energy and long-standing relationships within the trade make her perfectly placed to lead our UK sales strategy as we continue to grow and strengthen our trade partnerships across the market.”

The line will now look to expand its UK sales team to 19 members, with the addition of three new roles – a national account manager, field sales manager and trade support manager.

Bartlett added: “I’m incredibly proud to lead such a passionate and supportive team. The trade has always been central to MSC Cruises’ success in the UK, and our focus is to be more visible, more connected, and to continue building strong relationships that drive mutual growth.”

MSC Cruises’ trade focus includes the launch of MSC Connections, a series of pre-bookable face-to-face sessions with regional sales managers, with more than 20 planned for later this year and more planned in 2026.

The cruise line is also enhancing its ship visit programme and familiarisation trips and continuing to invest in agent training through the MSC Masters platform.

This announcement comes as MSC Cruises prepares for a new ex-UK programme launch for Summer 2027 with MSC Meraviglia homeporting from Southampton and the launch of MSC World Asia in December 2026.
