Central America is the ideal place to get off the beaten path. Passengers can get a selfie with a sloth in Roatan, or dive amongst the fishes in Acajulta. Guests can also catch a glimpse of old-world glamour in Mexico’s most famous resort, the Pearl of the Pacific and witness what attracted the rich and famous of the 1950s. Of course, no trip to Central America is complete without a visit to the world-famous Panama Canal.

Belize
Clients can chill out in Central America’s second smallest country, which offers fantastic snorkelling and diving off beautiful beaches. Take a boat ride from Belize City to the island of Caye Caulker with its pastel-coloured houses or visit the ancient Mayan city of Altun Ha with its tombs and pyramids.

Puntarenas
The port town on Costa Rica’s Gulf of Nicoya was settled by Europeans in 1519, who left a legacy of Spanish colonial architecture. Outside the city is Monteverde Biological Reserve, which has beautiful hiking trails to enjoy. The region has many spectacular waterfalls with the highest at Pura Vida Garden, where there are natural swimming pools.

Panama Railway
Take time out in Colon to learn more about the Panama Canal and visit other attractions. Opened in 1855, the Panama Railway was the world’s first transcontinental line and runs nearly 50 miles between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The trip can be completed in a day.
